🏉 Tag Rugby – HW Sport

For: Reception to Year 6 | All abilities welcome – no experience needed!

Tag rugby is the fun, safe, non-contact version of rugby where everyone gets involved! Instead of tackling, players pull tags from the opponent’s belt to stop play – so it’s fast-paced, exciting, and accessible for every child.

What we do:

✅ Quick, fun warm-ups & ball-handling games
✅ Learn core skills: passing, catching, dodging, and running with space
✅ Small-sided games – every child touches the ball and contributes
✅ Build teamwork, communication, and quick decision-making
✅ Played in a supportive, inclusive environment – winning isn’t everything!

Why children love it:

• No contact = confidence for all

• Mixed teams – boys & girls play together

• Fast matches with lots of action

• Great for fitness, coordination, and making friends

• We celebrate effort, progress, and fair play above all!

Session info:

• Suitable for all year groups – we adapt games for different ages

• No special kit needed: PE kit, trainers, and water bottle

• Tags & bibs provided – just bring energy!
